The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. About Gaspar Avila
Hello, my name is Gaspar Avila. I'm a portuguese photographer/designer. I always try an artistic and aesthetically pleasing approach to my subjects. My photography work is mostly about the Azores islands, their landscapes, architecture, culture and traditions, etc., but I also do conceptual work, mostly in studio. Over the years I had many of my photos published worldwide in books, advertising and magazines, including National Geographic. Sometimes I also do some Design/Digital art work. Cows are so sweet. The one in front is looking at you like you are from Mc Donald's! This makes me long for Summer. Artwork should make the viewer feel something and this has lots of feelings stirring.

Thank you, Sheri, for telling me how this makes you feel. This is one of my favourite images, I made it around 8 or 9 years ago... Since then I created a lot of stuff: photos, designs, 3D art,... but only a few of them makes me feel the same way as this photo. It's one of those special moments.
